Casual Care After Prep Assistants
We are seeking to add to our pool of Care after Prep Assistants in providing high quality care for our Prep to Year 4 students after the school day has finished.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
  • Paid at an hourly rate of 1/38th of the weekly rate for the employee’s classification under the NSW Christian School's General Staff Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement plus 20% 
  • Casual staff do not need to accept all casual engagements that the school may offer them.  Hours (and days) are, by their very nature, irregular (but not less than 2 hours per engagement).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed Christian, of a reformed evangelical persuasion and active in the life of a local Christian church
  • Suitably capable of providing engaging activities and excellent supervision to students between the ages of 3 – 9 years old. (Note: Always two Care Assistants on duty on each occasion). 
  • Experience working with young children desirable
  • Ideal for someone completing or undertaking further studies in child support or education, e.g., Cert III in Children’s Services or Education Support, Diploma in Children's Services, Bachelor of Education or equivalent and/or looking to progress in this area.
  • May be suitable for a university student who may only be available on certain days of the week.
