Covenant seeks to employ passionate Christian staff of a reformed evangelical persuasion, who are keen to explore and develop their practice faithfully.

Learning Hub (Library) Manager 7-12

The Learning Hub (previously known as the Secondary Library) is the dynamic learning space for Covenant Christian School students Years 7-12.  The vision for this space is for it to be the heart of student learning and the place that students and staff seek out so that they can be assisted in utilising all the learning resources available to them.
  
The Learning Hub Manager is responsible for implementing the Vision and Mission of the school in the context of the Learning Hub and other areas of the school in which they work. 

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS 
•  Permanent full-time 
•  Monday - Friday, potentially flexible hours 8.00am - 4.00pm, 38 hours per week, 40 weeks of the year
•  Commence with our Conference Week 20 January 2020
•  Under the NSW Christian School's General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement (Level 6)

KEY REQUIREMENTS   

• Committed Christian of a reformed evangelical persuasion
• Appropriately degree qualified and/or 4-6 year experienced librarian (and/or this position may suit someone with teaching qualifications and experience – although this is not a requirement of the position)
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team
• A professional, positive, warm and welcoming disposition with a strong work ethic
• Strong organisational and time management skills in order to prioritise competing tasks
• Supervisory skills to assist students in research and ensure the proper function of the Learning Hub 
• A shared vision for the future direction and needs of the Learning Hub 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and interact effectively in order to work with Learning Hub and teaching staff to see how the Learning Hub can best fulfill the needs of the students
• Provide teaching staff with up-to-date information regarding resources from a variety of media 
• A genuine passion for Christian education and continued development of skills in order to drive quality and process improvements

Senior Teachers' Aide (Prep - 6) Education Support

The Senior Teachers’ Aide is directly accountable to the Education Support Department who would delegate support to the various class teachers as required. There is a variable nature to this role that may require small group or individualised support for students, depending on the need.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS 
•  Permanent part-time 
•  8 hours per week (over 4 days), Monday - Thursday 8.40am - 10.40am, 38 weeks of the year
•  Commence as soon as possible
•  Under the NSW Christian School's General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement (Level 3)

KEY REQUIREMENTS   
• Committed Christian of a reformed evangelical persuasion  
• Experience working with children essential
• Experience with Special Education / Education Support an advantage
• Able to assist in evaluation and assessment of the learning needs of students
• Able to supervise and be responsible for students in a learning environment
• Be iPad and computer literate
