The Covenant community are grateful to Sally Rofe, Education Support Team Leader, for hosting a morning tea with guest speaker John Dickinson from ‘IDEAS’ (Information on Disability, Education and Awareness Services).
John provided information about his organisation and the services offered. IDEAS provides free, accurate and independent information, including resources and research relevant to those with a disability, particularly to school leavers.
The group of like-minded parents were also able to share information and offer encouragement to each other as they work out the best path for their children as they transition to life beyond school.
