This was our second year competing in the Surfing Championships. This year our students not only had the other competitors to contend with, but also some very strong and powerful swell at Dee Why beach. Ethan Lowry and Harrison Kelly both competed in the same heat in the first round, along with two other competitors. It is a gruelling sport where you have 15 minutes to get the highest two wave combination score, while also having to be selective in which waves you catch, who has priority, and scores needed to advance. Harry advanced to Round 2, and both boys had a lot of fun. Thanks to Mr Robinson for supporting the boys!
